Over the past 5 years Mozilla developers have blasted us away with their beautifully put together web browser. Firefox has brought a whole new meaning to the word internet security. It wasn't ever really an issue due to the lack of browser options and those browsers not pushing the web safety.
Firefox has made web safety the thing of the future. Staying one step ahead of the malicious viruses, worms, and webpages that can infect your computer. Now we can breath with a sigh of relief knowing that someone is out there looking out for the online community.
Also, add-ons and features that Firefox has brought to us has given people a new way of interacting over the internet and personalizing how their browser will work for them. Making it to where we are not working with the browser, but instead the browser is working for us. Firefox's implementation of tabs turned the whole browser industry upside down. Now people don't have to rack up extra RAM and have windows floating all over the place. Giving us a nice clean task bar without clutter.
I know that the tabbing feature is a life saver for me. Saving me time allowing me to flip through sites that are open with ease and not wasting time waiting on a video or pictures to load when I can be doing something else. Firefox gave us a whole new generation of internet culture making a stamp on computers everywhere and bringing joy to the world! :) Or, at least to the geeks out there!
HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY FIREFOX! Here is a video that was made on the history of Mozilla's Firefox.
