Google took a poll of it's Wave users to find out what people like the most and dislike the most about the new platform. The top thing that they found was the most liked from Google Wave is the overall concept of it. No matter if you like the usage, functions, and speed, more than likely you still like the concept of what it does and how it will benefit the future of technology.

Google also posted the most disliked things about Wave. Of course, as most would assume is that the biggest complaint was the lack of accounts for people. When people got their accounts, quickly they found that there was no one to use it's functionality with especially since there were no friends, family, or co-workers on the system yet. The release to public is being very slow and waiting time seems to be pretty long for most. There is also number two complaint was speed. I am very surprised about this considering Google's all around main priority on everything they do is making it fast and easy to use. If this is true, then why is there this complaint? Maybe Google Wave developers are not done yet with tweaking the things that are slowing it down.
Here's what Google Wave Support had to say about this poll:
What we're doing with the feedback

With these responses and other data, we're organizing our team around the core issues that are important to making waving better. We're working hard to scale our systems so you can invite your friends and colleagues to wave with you. We're also thinking about how to integrate with existing communication and collaboration tools. And since we all know that fast is better than slow, a large portion of the team is working to make Google Wave faster.

Let us know how we're going with these things and if you are waving feel free to take the survey again and again -- we're interested in seeing how people use Google Wave differently over time. We'll start writing about what people are actually doing with waves, so let us know about interesting things you've tried.

Happy waving!

MarcyT :

Hi. Sorry to be nitpicky, but "it's" is a contraction of "it is" and is not the 3rd person singular pronoun "its". It's my biggest pet peeve in writing....but good writing overall!

Thank you for correcting me. Didn't notice I did that.
