Is it really worth buying the HP Touchpad Tablet for $99? I say, "YES!" The reason is this.. Even though HP is no longer going to keep working on the hardware, the device will still be actively working and giving the user a tablet when they couldn't afford the others. There are also ways around the whole OS problem.
Pretty much anything out there has been rooted already. The tablet could be rooted and run a Linux operating system to give you a very usable device. Especially with the Android OS. The apps could be uploaded onto the device and run on one of the ARM versions of the operating system.
