Everyone wants to be on TV nowadays. But, who could blame them? Having the spot light on you and becoming a household name! The internet has allowed us to take that one step further. Giving everyone a own chance to start their own live broadcasting station or recording their own lives in real time for everyone to see.

Mostly so far this site is being used by the ultimate tech geeks to inform people and start their own shows. People like Chris Pirillo are keeping the webcams on 24/7 allowing people to watch what he is doing at all times. He seems to not be very camera shy which is a good thing since you can’t be shy and have a minimum of like 300 people watching you at any given moment. (P.S. - He even farts on air J).

Then there are others, such as, Leo Laporte that have their own station built up of several shows done by several different people. This allows them to do live shows and put it on reruns when not recording. Ustream has grown so big that radio shows are now broadcasting themselves over the internet while on air!
