This was made by the co-founder of Twitter, so we should expect some good quality software and lots of down time :) Some of the features that I found worthy was the ability to use your audio in jack to attach a special reader that will read the magnetic swipe on the card allowing instantaneous pulling up of the information. The sale requires a signature that can be signed right on the screen. Some places that you go to on a daily basis might end up giving you a bonus too for using the Square payment system. Worried about security? Well, I have my own concerns, but they have a few ways to keep it secure using an account that you create that pulls up your picture making it to where no one can use it except yourself. Get your receipts via text or email that way your pockets will no longer be full of paper that will end up in the lint trap of your dryer. Last, but not least, Square is donating 1 penny of every transaction through them to a cause of your choice. Will this be used by a large amount of consumers? I don't think so quite yet due to mainly only iPhone users will benefit. Everyone else is lost in the dark.
