Ok, so this is just saddening and should be a crime. This girl should be locked up for years to come for this very devastating destruction of a man's personal property. She is jealous of her boyfriend spending time with his XBox 360 (he probably bought MW2 :) But, no excuse for this crap! Take a look:

If you have been wanting to buy a Xbox360 then right now is the time. That is if you don't want Xbox Live on it. There are so many popping up on Ebay right now that you can actually get one for only 50 bucks! Basically, with the million people that Xbox Live booted, those people are trying to sell them and buy themselves an operational one. Well, it's sad for them, but if you just want to play games at home and feel it's worth the risk of getting a mod then go for it! While there is this dramatic dip in prices it needs to be taken advantage of it. Although, like I said, you have to be willing to take the risk. Ebay has already put statements out to steer people away from buying the consoles right now due to so many modded ones on there that are not stating it is modded.

In December Xbox is getting some new features to get people to stay on the Microsoft Live Gold membership. Maybe because they booted a million customers? Here are the features straight from the horses mouth:
- Facebook.2 Update your status to share what movie, game or entertainment you’re enjoying, connect with friends, and view their Facebook stream, status updates and photos on the big screen — all seamlessly integrated and custom-built for Xbox 360. You can even compare your Xbox LIVE and Facebook friends lists to see which of your friends are on Xbox LIVE.
- Zune. Zune video on Xbox LIVE offers a full-fidelity experience with instant-on HD in 1080p and 5.1 channel surround sound. No waiting for downloads or buffering, it’s there at the press of a button. You can also share the experience with up to seven friends through voice chat and Avatar integration on the TV screen — it puts a whole new spin on movie night.
- Twitter.2 Stay in the know by discovering, posting and replying to tweets right on your Xbox 360. You can even view friend profiles, trends and conversations, or search to see who’s tweeting about your favorite game.
- Last.fm. 2 Discover more music and explore endless personalized radio stations with Last.fm on Xbox 360. Skip, “ban” or “love” tracks to create your perfect mix. We’ve even built in “Gamer Stations” with game-related types of music selected specifically for the gaming community. (Available in the U.S. and U.K.)
According to Microsoft, they are now going to use comScore to figure out the usefulness of the in game ads. So, now that means they are going to be watching what you are doing to figure out the effectiveness of the ads we are seeing. Feeling the vomit come up my throat as I think about in game ads. Have they not gotten enough of my money and time? I pay for the system, games, and services therefore I should not see ANY ads at ANY time! Not that little ole me really has an opinion in the eyes of Microsoft, but I am not happy about this Press Release!

Microsoft must have felt a ripple in the sales of games since they decided to ban almost around a million gamers from XBox Live. Most of the bans are due to breaking the Microsoft Terms Of Use through modding or pirating of games. Microsoft has said that the bans can be for a day, week, or permanently depending on the severity. Who knows how they will actually decide what the severity is going to be.
The Director of Programming told CNN.com that they were banned not only for modding, but for cheating too. I know that there has been a few times that during my online games of Halo 3 that there were some cheaters that all of a sudden disappear and I am shot in the back. This almost feels like sweet revenge! Larry Hryb has said,
"The Xbox Live team monitors players for not just cheating, but also for things like threats, racism, profanity, and just being an all around poor sport and ruining the game for others."
Then Microsoft also put out a direct statement,
"commitment to combat piracy and support safer and more secure gameplay for the more than 20 million members of the Xbox Live community remains a top priority. All consumers should know that piracy is illegal and modifying their Xbox 360 console violates the Xbox Live terms of use, will void their warranty and result in a ban from Xbox Live. We can assure you that if an Xbox Live member follows the Xbox Live terms of use, purchased a retail copy of Modern Warfare 2 and played the game on an unmodified Xbox 360, no action will be taken."
But, I know one thing. There were probably a lot of sad gamers out there today especially with the new Call of Duty game that was just released. Now there are a million people that won't be able to play now.
